Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Cova monitoring intelligence platform ("Service") operated by Cova ("we," "us," "our") and available at getcova.ai. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Service, you represent that you are at least 16 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Cova is a monitoring intelligence platform that:
- Connects to third-party monitoring and observability tools to analyze configurations
- Scans source code repositories to identify monitoring coverage gaps
- Provides AI-powered recommendations for improving monitoring and alerting
- Offers an AI chat assistant for monitoring-related questions
3. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
- Use automated means to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable usage
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or restrictions
- Share account credentials or allow others to access the Service through your account
5. Third-Party Integrations
The Service allows you to connect third-party monitoring tools by providing API credentials. By connecting a third-party service:
- You represent that you have the right to access and analyze the data in those accounts
- You acknowledge that Cova will access data from those services solely to provide monitoring analysis
- You understand that the availability and accuracy of data from third-party services is outside our control
- You remain bound by the terms of service of each connected third-party service
6. Your Data
- You retain ownership of all data you provide to the Service, including API credentials and analysis results.
- We claim no ownership over your monitoring configurations, source code, or analysis outputs.
- We use your data solely to provide and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- You may delete your data at any time by disconnecting tools, deleting analyses, or deleting your account.
7. AI-Generated Content
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate monitoring recommendations, configuration suggestions, runbooks, and chat responses. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes and should be reviewed before implementation
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated recommendations
- You are responsible for validating any configurations before applying them to production systems
- AI-generated content should not be treated as professional security, reliability, or engineering advice
8. Service Plans and Pricing
- The Service offers Free, Pro, and Enterprise tiers with varying features and usage limits.
- Plan details and pricing are as displayed on the Service at the time of purchase.
- We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
- Free tier usage limits may be adjusted at our discretion.
9. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled or emergency maintenance
- Infrastructure provider outages
- Force majeure events
We are not liable for any losses resulting from Service unavailability.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits.
- Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Cova and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
12. Termination
- You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.
- Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the Effective Date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
